Through innovation, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we empower biomedical technicians and healthcare systems to maintain essential medical devices and ensure quality surgical care.

Right to Repair Advocacy

  • Promoting access to service manuals, diagnostic tools, and spare parts for biomedical equipment.

  • Eliminating restrictive manufacturer policies that limit medical device maintenance.

  • Supporting policies that empower healthcare professionals to repair and maintain medical equipment.


Medical Equipment Donation Reform

  • Ensuring ethical and sustainable donation practices.

  • Partnering with global organizations to develop biomedical equipment assessment tools.

  • Addressing the challenges of non-operational donated equipment.


Biomedical Capacity Building

  • Training biomedical technicians to manage and maintain SOTA equipment.

  • Providing technical expertise to Ministries of Health and key stakeholders.

  • Developing standards and guidelines for sustainable medical device management.


Technical Assistance & Research

  • Supporting the development of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) for medical equipment maintenance.

  • Conducting research on biomedical infrastructure and the impact on surgical care.
